My name is Tamas and I am a currently working as a Senior Data Analyst at komoot. I was born in Budapest, studied in Leuven and St. Andrews, and have worked in Montreal and Amsterdam.

My main area of expertise is digital analytics, however I have worked on projects in a variety of industries such as online media, e-commerce, travel and banking. I love solving business problems with data, discovering new insights and building scalable solutions.

While I do have a slight preference for R, I am also familiar with SQL, Python and Apache Spark. I enjoy learning and experimenting with new technologies, which is pretty much what my blog is about.

My other interests include getting lost in the Highlands, buying Blues CD’s and visiting Psytrance festivals.
